Digi Upgrades its Prepaid Packs – 10GB Streaming Data on Prepaid LiVE and Unlimited Social on Prepaid Best

Using one of the latest prepaid packs from Digi – Digi Prepaid LiVE and Best? If you are, here’s a piece of good news for you. The telco recently upgraded its prepaid packs offering even more than before. The telco is now offering 10GB streaming data on Prepaid Live and unlimited social on Prepaid Best.

When Digi first launched its Prepaid LiVE in August last year, it offered only 8GB of monthly quota for video and music streaming. The telco has just upgraded that offer, giving you 10GB of streaming data; that’s 2.5GB internet weekly to enjoy on your favourite video and music streaming apps including YouTube, iflix, Spotify, Joox and many others. Check out Digi to find out the eligible video and music apps. It looks like Digi has also removed the limited to individual streaming services as well. Before this, the telco offered 1GB of data each for video and music streaming every week. Now, you get a total of 2.5GB each week to use for video and music streaming. That’s not all, Digi Prepaid LiVE also offers unlimited calls and SMS to 6 Buddyz (increased from 3 Buddyz before this upgrade), free basic internet (limited to 500MB only), free 100GB of storage on Capture cloud storage service, and Digi LiVE Rewards. Additional terms and conditions apply. As for Digi Prepaid Best, free unlimited social on Facebook and Twitter. This is available every day and anytime. Other benefits remains the same such as free basic internet, best call and SMS rates to 20 Kawan, and best IDD rates through Telenor friends. Do note that Digi’s free unlimited social is limited to Facebook and Twitter only. There is a one time activation – just dial *888*1# to activate it. Free basic internet is also limited to 500MB only, and is available for “light version of internet activities such as social text messaging”. Free basic internet is not applicable for tethering or internet calls. While these are only minor upgrades, it’s good to see Digi moving on with the trend to offer even more to its subscribers without any additional charges. This makes Digi Prepaid one of the most comprehensive prepaid plans available.
